Located in downtown Montreal, St-Lawrence Toastmasters is a bilingual club. All meetings are held in both English and French.

Here is an interesting article giving useful tips on how to avoid using some of the dreaded filler words “Um” and “Uh” when speaking.

How to Minimize Your Uh’s and Um’s”

Although it’s from the website “The Art of Manliness", the article can apply to both sexes. It explains why we tend to use filler words and how they can be detrimental, and then gives suggestions that can help to minimize the use of such fillers.

Since the Toastmasters Area 53 Contest will take place that same evening, and some of our members will be competing in the contest, our club will therefore be attending the contest in order to cheer on our members.

Veuillez noter que la réunion du 11 mars au Club St-Lawrence Toastmasters sera annulée exceptionnellement.

Puisque le Concours Toastmasters du secteur 53 aura lieu cette même soirée, et que des membres de notre club y participeront comme concurrents, notre club ira donc assister au concours pour encourager nos membres.
