Building a hockey rink? Applying to business school? Trying to streamline your meetings? Learn how at St. Lawrence Toastmasters.
Indeed, one of the great “perks” of being a Toastmasters member is that we not only learn how to improve our ability to communicate effectively and how be a better leader, but we also get to learn fascinating new things every time one of our members gives a speech, like how to get something done (such as building a hockey rink).
For example, three veteran speakers took the podium recently to dazzle us with their speech craft. They gave us a few delights to take home: insight, information, and inspiration. Its nights like these – the ones that not only give you tips to improve your public speaking but also your life – that keep the room packed at St. Lawrence Toastmasters. Even on a hockey playoff night!
Are you interested in how you can learn from a Toastmasters club in Montreal? Feel free to come meet us.
