Yesterday was a special evening at St-Lawrence. First of all, the club wanted to recognize the work of Kevin, our waiter at St-Ambroise Restaurant (where we hold our weekly meetings). He has been so nice to us that we all wanted to thank him for being part of the success of the club.

We also had the honour of having several visitors, including Leona Hamel, Lieutenant Governor Education and Training.  To recognize every member that succesfully completed a CC (Competent Communicator), there are pins decorated with the colors of the district‘s theme “Be a star, soar to success”. Leona took the opportunity to gave a pin to a member that recently completed his second CC, Italo Magni.

Hier soir fut une soirée spéciale à St-Lawrence. Premièrement, le club a reconnu le travail de Kevin, notre serveur au restaurant L’Ambroisie. Il est tellement sympathique et attentionné avec nous, que nous voulions le remercier de contribuer à la réussite du club.

Nous avons aussi eu l’honneur d’avoir la visite de la Vice-gouverneure à la formation (VGF), Léona Hamel. Le thème du district cette année est ” Soyez une étoile, filez vers le succès”, et il existe des épinglettes aux couleurs du thème, distribuées à tous ceux ayant terminé et réussi un CC (communicateur compétent). Léona a profité de sa visite au club pour décerner ce prix à un membre ayant récemment terminé son deuxième CC,  Italo Magni.
